Family Centre Vyšehrádek is officially starting from March 2010.

Petr and Veronika Stárkovi from Vyšehrad are the founders, but the main power goer of this project is their daughter Maruška.

Petr Stárek has already worked with several methods from Montessori education in his therapies with children in late nineties and was always interested in this specific approach.

At this point, he is very sorry not to have known this method earlier, when his daughter Anita was born. This, however, was 1987 when only standard and well known methods of handling children were used, with exception of handful enlightened ones.

After his second daughter was born, he and his wife Veronika knew, that this is an amazing method for approaching children not only at nursery (with so few of them) but also at home.

Principals of this method are applicable from the moment of birth and lead to child, parent and adult development.

Within enlightenment and development of Montessori idea both of them decided to start and run Family centre with variable character.

Idea of premises, which will be available in mornings and afternoons for children or parents as a Day care with Montessori approach and evenings be of service for exercising, clubs, chats, lectures and similar activities.

Also at weekends you can look forward to art classes, theatres, workshops, family trips etc. Family centre Vyšehrádek is a peaceful harbour for those, who are interested in active development of their child and who are looking to use their time meaningfully, work with their mind and body.
